On the 24th August I flew to New York from Vancouver via Chicago to meet Tammay who had spent a couple of months working in Ohio for her PhD.

Tammay talked me into rowing her around a lake in Central Park. It didn't turn out to be my best decision considering the August heat.
On the 27th of August I flew back to London and Tammay flew on to Boston to meet Jason and Mark.
